CITY archaeologist John Oxley is set to talk about his long working life at a meeting on Saturday.
He will review how archaeology has changed over the last 45 years, in particular how archaeological practice in York has had global implications and influence.
His talk for Fishergate, Fulford and Heslington Local History Society starts at 10am on Saturday at St Oswald’s Church Hall, Main Street, Fulford, with admission £2 for non-members.
