WORK on the A166 at Stamford Bridge will be finished with new road markings going down overnight before Easter.
East Riding Council has apologised for delays on the work, which it says were caused by the bad weather.
A council spokesperson said: "The very severe weather we experienced recently caused significant delays to these important resurfacing works, and extended the overnight scheme by around two weeks. We apologise that the delays lasted for longer than we had anticipated, but can assure road users that the main works have now been completed, and we thank them for their patience."
Work in Viking Road in Stamford Bridge has been delayed by the weather, but work to replace the concrete carriageway should finish by the end of April.
There have also been delays on work on the A614 at Holme on Spalding Moor, because of drainage problems. A new solution has been found now, a council spokesman said, and the temporary three-way traffic lights at the junction with the A163 will be removed for the Easter weekend.
