Train strike to affect York services next week
STRIKE action on Northern rail services will affect passengers travelling to and from York next week.
The RMT Union has called for members to walk out on Monday and Thursday in an ongoing dispute over the role of guards and driver only operated trains.
Northern has announced it will be running a reduced timetable with around 1,400 services, including trains between York and Harrogate, Leeds, Selby and Hull.
Most trains will run between 7am and 7pm and for provisional timetables visit northernrailway.co.uk/strike.
