A PUBLIC meeting is being held this week about the future of a key bus services linking villages south of York to the city.
The 18 and 18A services are run by East Yorkshire Motor Services, and link nine villages between Market Weighton and York to the designer outlet shopping centre and the city.
East Riding councillor Victoria Aitken has called the meeting to show the strength of support and need for the service.
"It's important that people engage with this, because this is a vital bus link".
The meeting is on Thursday, March 22 at 7pm at Bubwith Leisure and Sports Centre.
