POLICE are continuing to investigate a serious assault at a York nightclub, which left a man with several fractures to the jaw.
It happened around the front doors of Club Jalou on Micklegate, North Yorkshire Police said.
At about midnight on December 30 last year, the victim, a 20-year-old local man, was punched once to the face by a man aged in his late teens, according to the force.
The force said the victim was taken to hospital after suffering several fractures to the jaw, a split lip and a bloodied nose, adding that he is still recovering from his injuries.
