Selby Abbey
VISITORS to Selby Abbey will be invited to “Be Still” and listen to piano prayers during Holy Week.
It is one of several reflective events in the run-up to Easter.
Local musician Catherine Holbrook will perform a series of her own musical meditations for Holy Week on the piano in the church.
Called “Be Still” her performance will begin on Tuesday March 27 at 12pm.
Other events during Holy Week include Taize Prayers in the Abbey on Wednesday March 28.
On Good Friday the annual Churches Together in Selby Walk of Witness from Portholme Church to Market Place will be followed by soup in the Abbey.
