PUPILS at Clifton Green Primary School have been jumping into a healthier lifestyle thanks to their new PE lessons.
Youngsters have been taking classes at Energi Trampoline Park in Poppleton as part of their curriculum.
Each class will take five lessons at the centre, in which they play dodgeball, tackle an assault course and see if they can beat their own person best for the highest number of bounces in a minute.
Danny Palmer, head of sport at the school, said: "The kids have just loved it. Many of them haven't had the chance to do this before.
"It's about kids enjoying PE lessons but it's also a great way to promote fitness and healthy living.
"They always come back with big smiles on their faces and it's a highlight of their week - it's something they all look forward too."
