A WOMAN has been arrested and a man has been taken to hospital after a crash near Selby this morning.
North Yorkshire Police was called at 6.40am to reports of a collision involving two vehicles on the A63 at Osgodby.
The force said it involved a grey Nissan Qashqai and a black BMW car, both of which overturned, and the BMW left the road.
The driver of the BMW, a man in his 40s, was injured and taken to hospital for treatment, the force added.
It confirmed that a 31-year-old woman from Howden was arrested nearby on suspicion of drink driving, driving without due care and attention, and failing to stop after a collision.
The road was closed to allow the cars to be recovered.
