Seventy York properties hit by power cut
ABOUT 70 properties in the Rawcliffe area of York have been affected by a power cut.
Northern Powergrid said its team was working hard to restore electricity supplies and it expected to do so by 7.30pm.
It said the power cut, which has affected customers in the Oakdale Road area, had been caused by an unexpected problem with the electricity cable supplying the area.
