EMPLOYEES from a commercial interior design business are getting on their bikes to help support a charity working to end youth homelessness.

Harrogate-based Absolute Commercial Interiors is sponsoring the Carter Jonas LandAid Pedalthon to help raise funds for property industry charity LandAid.

Staged by national property consultancy Carter Jonas and now in its fifth year, the ride has raised more than £40,000 for charity to date. The money used goes towards the renovation of empty and derelict properties in Yorkshire, bringing them back into use as affordable and safe homes.

Absolute Commercial Interiors is fielding a team of 10 riders for the event which is being held on May 11. This year’s Carter Jonas LandAid Pedalthon is again supported by Yorkshire brewer T&R Theakston and will start and end at the brewery in Masham.

Riders can participate in either the 80-mile challenge or 40-mile social ride through the Yorkshire countryside.
