WOMEN in Derwenthorpe have decorated the cycle path near the Super Sustainable Centre with a picture quiz and bunting to mark 100 years since winning the right to vote.
The group are celebrating International Women's Day by yarn-bombing a tree and dressing up as suffragettes.
A spokesman for the group said: "We wanted to both celebrate and inform so that residents will have a lasting impression of women's achievements over the years."
The film Suffragette will be shown at the Super Sustainable Centre tonight at 7.30pm.
