A FRESH yellow warning has been issued for sleet and snow in parts of North Yorkshire.
The Met Office says there could be sleet and snow in upland areas, and some lower levels as well, tonight and tomorrow morning.
It said some roads and railways were likely to be affected, with longer journey times.
However, the specific forecast for York was more encouraging, saying mainly dry weather was expected overnight and just the chance of a little rain, sleet, or even wet snow for a time tomorrow morning, which should clear to leave sunshine and showers.
