STUDENTS from a York secondary school will travel to Westminster Abbey in London next Monday to take part in a celebration of Commonwealth Day.
The Archbishop Holgate’s School pupils will join 700 children and young people from across the UK at the largest annual multi-faith service in the UK, which is typically attended by The Queen and will be broadcast live on the BBC.
School chaplain Richard Nihill said: “The students and I are very excited about being given this wonderful opportunity.”
