THE eight hundredth anniversary of the death of St Robert, Knaresborough’s local saint will be marked at the town’s library.
Author Peter Lacey will launch his book, Tales of the Celebrity Hermit, at Knaresborough library on Saturday, March 10, from 3pm and 5pm.
This will be a chance to discover more about the saint and to find out about the other events planned to mark the anniversary, including a pilgrimage walk, a short story and art competition for children, the brewing of a special beer, yarn bombing and much more.
