DETECTIVES are investigating an incident of road rage in the Selby district.
Humberside Police said a driver was assaulted following an incident on the A63 near the Loftsome Bridge Coaching House, Howden, at about 10.30am on Friday, February 16.
A spokesman said the man had overtaken a red Seat Ibiza when the Seat drove up behind him and allegedly collided with the back of his car.
He said: "The Seat drove off but parked further down the road where its two male occupants flagged the victim down.
"The victim stopped and was allegedly dragged from his car and assaulted by the men, sustaining minor head and hand injuries. Other drivers stopped to help and the suspects drove off. The victim has described the men as being brothers or twins, white, around 25 to 30-years-old, six feet tall, with gingery or blonde hair.
