TRADESPEOPLE are being warned not to leave their tools in their works vans after a spate of break-ins on the east coast of North Yorkshire.
Officers are investigating after six vans were targeted for tools overnight between Monday and Tuesday.
These include a Peugeot van in Rillington, another Peugeot van in Filey, a van in Muston and a Ford Transit van, Iveco van, and Peugeot van, all in Northstead, Scarborough.
Officers are warning van owners following the recent thefts and are appealing to anyone with information to get in touch.
