THE former chairman of governors of a North Yorkshire private school will stand trial on sex charges in May.
Brian Richard Martin, 68, of Ferrensby, Knaresborough, who was chairman of governors at Queen Ethelburga’s School, near York, faces allegations of sexual misconduct against children in the 1990s and 2000s.
He denies the charges and was released on bail.
The trial will be at Leeds Crown Court.
