AN ELECTRICAL fault is believed to have sparked a fire to a sign on the front of a commercial building in North Yorkshire.
Firefighters were called to the incident in East Parade, Harrogate, at about 2.55am today.
A North Yorkshire fire service spokesman said the neon sign suffered fire damage.
Firefighters isolated the power supply and used one hosereel and a triple extension ladder to put out the flames.
"The cause is believed to be an electrical fault," the spokesman said.
