A WOMAN suffered a cut to her head and shock in a two-vehicle crash in North Yorkshire, while the occupants of the second vehicle fled the scene, said North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service.
Firefighters from Harrogate were called to the collision on the A661 at Follifoot yesterday evening.
"Fire crews administered first aid prior to arrival of an ambulance and made the vehicle safe," said a spokeswoman.
Meanwhile, fire crews were called to a nightclub in Tanner Row, York, at 4.55am today following reports of smoke from an air handling unit. They isolated the unit’s power and used a thermal camera to check there was no fire.
