A MAN was punched in the face and seriously injured at a York cash point.
The victim went to York Hospital and received treatment for two broken teeth, a broken cheekbone and a broken nose.
North Yorkshire Police said the attack happened at 12.40am on Saturday while the man was waiting to use the cash point on Rougier Street.
The suspect has been described as in his late twenties, approximately 6ft tall, light brown short hair with stubble facial hair.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened or can help identify the suspect to contact them.
