SHOPPERS and visitors who hopped onto a bus in York city centre were treated to a virtual reality space trip.
The Samsung Space Descent VR Bus parked up on Parliament Street today, and is there again on Saturday, inviting ‘passengers’ to experience Tim Peake’s descent from the International Space Station for themselves.
It includes a virtual reality experience and various interactive activities within the customised double decker bus. These include selfies, VR, videos and electronic games, with the interior designed to look like the inside of a spacecraft.
Tim Peake's spacecraft: Soyuz TMA-is currently at the National Railway Museum.
