This week, the organisation announced that their Community Payback team would be working in Tang Hall from later this month.

A spokesman for the service said the area had been “targeted by fly-tippers and needs a general tidy-up”, and the Community Payback team were first contacted by City of York Councillor Michael Pavlovic for help.

He said: “We are working alongside Michael and City of York Council over the next few weekends.
