THE Circus Of Horrors returns to the Grand Opera House, York, on Tuesday, this time with its new show, Voodoo VaudEvil.
The 7.30pm circus spectacular will be "an amazing amalgamation of bizarre and fantastic circus acts acts, all woven into a sensational shock/horror story and the darkest of magic".
"Taking the show to a whole new level, it’s driven by a mainly original soundscape and performed with a forked tongue firmly in each cheek," says the Circus Of Horrors. "You’ll certainly die laughing."
On the road for 22 years now, the Circus Of Horrors plays more than 100 British theatres each year and was the first British circus act to perform in Russia, appearing in Moscow, as well as being the first circus act full stop to present a show in London's West End in more than a century.
The Circus Of Horrors first caused a stir at the 1995 Glastonbury Festival and has since staged shows from Chile to Chatham, Argentina to Aberdeen, Japan to Jersey, including festival appearances with Alice Cooper, Eminem, Oasis and Iron Maiden.
Voodoo VaudEvil contains nudity and language of an adult nature, hence it carries an advisory age of 16 plus. Tickets are on sale on 0844 871 3024 or at atgtickets.com/york
