STARGAZERS were out in force to view last night's Super Blue Blood Moon.
Among those were members of The Press Camera Club Facebook page who captured these stunning images, featured in our picture gallery.
It was the first time in more than 150 years people around the world were able to see the spectacular sight. The last time three rare lunar conditions coming together at once was last seen in 1866.
Wet weather was forecast across parts of the UK but there were enough clear breaks to allow the phenomenon to be viewed clearly.
The blue moon, defined as the second full moon in a calendar month, rose for the firsttime since July 2015.
It was also a supermoon, meaning the Earth's natural Satellite appeared 14 per cent bigger and 30 per cent brighter in the sky as it reached its closest point to Earth.
