PALOMA Faith will play York Racecourse this summer.
The racecourse announced its first headline act for the summer Music Saturday on June 30th.
Paloma's gig - announced this morning - will be the first of three music and racing events in York in 2018.
She said: "I'm really looking forward to playing York Racecourse next summer, it'll be one of the first chances I'll get to play tracks from The Architect in the sunshine.
"I love a day out at the races too so can't wait for it."
Olly Murs played at last year's Music Showcase at York Racecourse
Paloma Faith returned to the charts last year with ‘The Architect’, followed the huge success of her 2014 album, ‘A Perfect Contradiction’, which spent 29 weeks in the Top 10 Albums Chart, 66 weeks in the Top 40, and 100 weeks in the Top 200.
The racecourse's James Brennan said: "Everyone at the course is really excited that Paloma has chosen York to tour her new album.
"Add in the spectacle of the racing itself and we hope it will prove a summer day to savour.”
Tickets for Paloma Faith officially went on sale at 9am this morning from www.yorkracecourse.co.uk or calling 01904 620911.
