A MAN caught after a police manhunt has been jailed for four weeks.
North Yorkshire Police appealed to the public to help them find Brett Vincent Lill after he broke the terms of his prison licence.
Following his arrest, the 45-year-old of Flaxman Avenue, Tang Hall, appeared before York Magistrates Court and admitted breaching a restraining order by climbing into a woman’s house through a window and failure to attend court.
Lill was jailed for life in 2006 at York Crown Court for causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He was released in June 2017. After he failed to answer his prison recall in December police started the manhunt.
