THE FUNERAL of a mum who raised thousands of pounds to spend one last Christmas with her young family will take place on February 2.
Stacie Rafton, 35, died on January 15 after suffering with a brain tumour for three years.
The mum-of-two’s ordeal brought her Selby community together, and friends and loved ones helped to raise £20,000 to fund private chemotherapy to keep her alive long enough to make final memories with her daughters and husband, Kenny.
The funeral will be held on Friday, February 2, at Selby Abbey, from 2.30pm. Guests are encouraged to wear clothes in Cadbury Purple.
