THE Elmet Lions Pub Quiz raised £800 from sponsorship from 10 pubs in the Sherburn and Monk Fryston areas.
The Cross Keys at Hillam raised the most money, collecting £164, and completed the double by also winning the pub quiz.
All funds have been donated to York Against Cancer, and the Lord Mayor of Leeds Appeal for Candlelighters.
