FOOTPATHS in a York village have undergone a number of improvements thanks to £5,570 in ward funding from City of York Council.
Cllr Keith Aspden, Lib Dem councillor for Fulford and Heslington, said the works had been carried out in Main Street, Heslington.
He said: “This is another example of using ward committee resources to improve the area and see benefits for local residents. As ward councillor, I am continuously looking for further opportunities for ward committee schemes.”
He said residents and local community groups could make ward spending suggestions by emailing him at cllr.kaspden@york.gov.uk
