Plastic protects us all from diseases I HAVE much respect and admiration for our Prime Minister, Mrs Theresa May.

But I think she is barking up the wrong tree if she thinks of trying to save the planet with the banning of plastics.

In my humble opinion a flu epidemic would be made to look like a kids’ tea party if many of our edible foods in supermarkets were not protected by plastic.

Disease would spread like wildfire, the way some people examine food, sniff it, then replace it on shelves for others to do likewise.
