THE stars of a new adaptation of Brighton Rock have completed their first day of rehearsals ahead of next month’s show in York.
The Pilot Theatre and York Theatre Royal production of Brighton Rock by Graham Greene, adapted by Bryony Lavery and directed by Esther Richardson, will feature Jacob James Beswick, Gloria Onitiri, Sarah Middleton, Angela Bain, Marc Graham, Chris Jack, Jennifer Jackson, Dorian Simpson and Shamira Turner. The production has a specially composed soundtrack by the Northern Irish artist, singer and electronic composer and member of Magnetic North, Hannah Peel. She will perform in the production during the opening run at York Theatre Royal. The production premieres at York Theatre Royal from Friday, February 16 to Saturday, March 3 before touring the UK.
