A MOTHER-OF-TWO who raised £20,000 to pay for a private chemotherapy drug in a bid to help her spend one last Christmas with her family has died.
Family and friends of Stacie Rafton, 35, from Selby, set out to raise thousands of pounds to pay for the treatment on her brain tumour, which cost £4,400 every month.
Mrs Rafton was able to spend Christmas at home, despite the treatment not working, and died in the early hours of Monday morning.
