A 22-YEAR-OLD woman has died in a car crash in North Yorkshire.
The collision, shortly after 8.40pm on Saturday, involved a blue Subaru Impreza, which was travelling from Long Preston towards Settle on the A65 when it left the road, North Yorkshire Police said.
The front seat passenger, a 22-year-old woman from Norfolk, was killed in the collision, while the driver, a 27-year-old man from the Skipton area, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A police spokesman said: "He is assisting officers with their inquiries."
Witnesses to the collision or anyone who noticed the blue Subaru Impreza prior to the crash, are urged to contact the police as soon as possible.
