A 4x4 vehicle came off the road and crashed into trees after a police chase in North Yorkshire.
Police were called to Ulleskelf near Tadcaster at around 3.50pm yesterday to reports of suspected hare coursing.
North Yorkshire Police said officers attempted to stop a 4x4 vehicle, which lost control following a chase.
The driver, a man in his 50s from Doncaster, was arrested and has been charged with failing to stop, driving without due care and attention and having no insurance, the force added.
