LETTER: If the EU collapses, we’ll all be in trouble
SO Dr Scott Marmion invites us to gloat and jeer “when”
the European Union and the security it provides collapses (Letters, December 14).
If the European Union collapses all our little local countries (England, Scotland, France, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Spain etc) will most probably sink into insignificance in a world dominated by China, India, Russia and - for a while longer, perhaps - America.
All will be at the mercy of more “events, dear boy, events” over which we have no control, no influence.
