A woman who had a cannabis grinder and cannabis in her leggings has been fined.
Samantha Bentley, 31, was smoking a cannabis joint when police stopped the car she was in on Ramshill Road, Scarborough, on February 21, Kathryn Reeve, prosecuting, told York Magistrates Court.
A search found the grinder and some cannabis bush in her leggings.
Bentley, of St Joseph's Drive, off Pickering Road, Hull, pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis and failure to attend court on March 9.
She was fined £170 with £30 statutory surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.
For her, Mark Partridge said she hadn't been able to afford to travel to court and had not offended since March.
Bentley was arrested on a court warrant.
