THOUSANDS of youngsters have enjoyed the magic of Christmas at the Murton Park and Derwent Valley Light Railway Santa Specials.
More than six and a half thousand families were given a tour of Santa’s village by the chief elf, Bauble, where they were entertained by Santa’s Elves and helpers.
They were also treated to a ride on the Santa Special Train and given a present by the man himself. Afterwards adults were treated to a glass of sherry and a mince pie.
