Christmas Lunch
BIG-HEARTED York pub landlords Lorraine and Dave Clark plan to serve up a free Christmas Day lunch with all the trimmings to 16 pensioners who are home alone.
The couple at the Edinburgh Arms in Fishergate raised the money to fund it through a charity pool tournament.
They decided to offer a traditional lunch and bring smiles to the faces of people who would otherwise spend Christmas day alone.
To apply for the lunch or suggest someone who would benefit, call the pub on 01904 623085.
