St Wilfrid’s Church, York provided Christmas music on hand bells at the annual Dickensian evening at Riccall.
Members of the local community turned the clock back and dressed in period clothes to take in a full programme of events, on Saturday, December 2.
A choir performed Christmas songs while visitors enjoyed mulled wine, doughnuts, chocolate and a visit to Father Christmas.
Proceeds from the event will be used to support community projects in the village, and help fund next year’s village carnival.
