A WOMAN has been charged with drink-driving after a three car crash.

A 41-year-old was allegedly four times the legal limit of 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, following a crash on the A168 on Monday.

Police were called to the crash at 4.45pm between a Renault Clio, an Alfa Romeo and a Volkswagen Polo on the Thornton-le-Moor road, near Northallerton.

The driver of the Renault Clio will appear at Northallerton' Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
