A WOMAN has been handed a four year driving ban.
Rachael Swinburn-Ledger, 47, of Harrogate, was arrested on August 6, and then again on November 3, and was three times over the legal limit on both occasions.
North Yorkshire Police said Swinburn-Ledger pleaded guilty to both offences at Harrogate Magistrates' Court on November 30, and was also ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work.
Traffic Constable David Minto, of Harrogate road policing team, said: “This court result should serve as a stark and sobering reminder to anyone that drink and drug driving in North Yorkshire will not be tolerated.”
