FATHER Christmas will be visiting villages and towns around the Selby area to raise money and support local charities.
Elmet Lions have managed to find time in Santa’s busy schedule for him to take time to tour the Sherburn in Elmet, Hillam and Monk Fryston areas in coming weeks.
Children can meet Santa and tell him what they want for Christmas, and elves will accompany him with collection boxes, with funds going to support charities in the area.
He will set off at 5.30pm each day, visiting South Milford today, Monday; Ulleskelf Tuesday; Sherburn Fairway, Copperfield and Pasture View, Wednesday; Sherburn Pastures, Thursday; and Sherburn Springfields, Friday. Then, from 3pm to 5.30pm on Sunday, he will be at Hillam, and from 5.30pm to 8pm, at Monk Fryston.
