Hats off to latest shop window Advent entry
THERE was a distinct pantomime flavour to York’s fifth Living Advent Calendar window display at The Hat Shop on Pavement.
Owner John Ramsdale and shop assistant Isobella Renkin-Holloway ripped off the covers to reveal a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs theme, put together by another staff member, Linda Brown, who dresses the shop’s windows every week.
The public will be invited to vote for their favourite window from Boxing Day until Friday, January 5.
The winner will be announced by organisers VisitYork in the new year.
Today, the Press’s very own festive window will be unveiled.
