FIREFIGHTERS attended an unusual emergency in Selby when they went to the aid of a child.
The youngster was in a car and was unable to open the door to get out.
Firefighters from Selby station broke the car’s windows using a specialist glass punch.
Then they opened the door to let the child out.
The incident happened shortly before noon in Petre Avenue, yesterday.
