Motorcyclist ends up in ditch after crash with car
A MOTORCYCLIST ended up in a ditch following a collision with a car near York.
Police were called to the crash this morning on the A1079 at the junction of Long Lane, between High Catton and Kexby.
A Humberside Police spokesman said it involved a BMW car and a Yamaha motorcycle and happened at about 8.30am.
"The motorcycle rider came off the road and entered a ditch," the spokesman added.
"He was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The car driver was unhurt."
