A PURSE containing sentimental photographs and cash, a handbag and an iPad have been stolen during a burglary in York.
North Yorkshire Police said the burglary happened at a property in the Woodthorpe area of Acomb on Friday evening last week.
The handbag is black in colour with one large middle pocket and two smaller pockets either side, a police spokesman added.
A flowery Cath Kidston purse, which may have been inside the handbag and contained photos of "great sentimental value" and cash, was also taken, the spokesman said.
Anyone who finds the handbag or purse should phone North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for Mark Cook, or email mark.cook@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk Alternatively, phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
