The Yorkshire Air Ambulance
A COUPLE will stage their 14th annual open house and coffee morning in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance in their York home tomorrow.
Former teacher Muriel Foster, of 4, Muncastergate, Malton Road, said that she and her husband Dennis, had so far raised £14,970 for the helicopter heroes.
She said they started fundraising after the air ambulance saved the life of one of her pupils after a road accident.
The Lord Mayor of York, Cllr Barbara Boyce, will attend the sale, which runs from 10am to 12.30pm and will include the sale of air ambulance goods and home-made cakes, and a raffle and games.
