A CHARITY supporting elderly people in York has bought a fleet of four mini buses.
Age UK York has bought the vehicles to carry older people to and from hospital, to the shops, or wherever they request to go.
The four buses will be officially launched by Big Ian Donaghy of the band Huge at 1.45pm on Thursday, November 23, at Nicholas Gardens, off Hull Road, York.
The band’s frontman is well known for his charity work with the elderly and organises a Christmas meal every year.
