A BAKER has won two international awards for her cakes.
Katalin Tolnai, from Kati’s Cakery in Norton, won two awards for her cakes at Cake International in Birmingham.
The businesswoman picked up silver in the Carved Novelty Cake category and a merit award for her wedding cake in the Three or More Tier class after going up against bakers from across the globe.
She said: “I’m so pleased with how well we did at Cake International.
“These awards mean so much to me; it’s been a great boost to my business and I’m already seeing an increase in orders! I’m grateful for the support and encouragement to start my own bakery from my business coach. Being self-employed has increased my income and has given me the flexibility to take care of my family.”
