DETECTIVES want to identify this man, who they say threatened a man with violence and stole his phone.
North Yorkshire Police said the 43-year-old victim was walking in Hamilton Drive, York, at about 11.15pm on Sunday, November 12, using his iPhone.
When he approached the entrance to the rugby club in Hamilton Drive, police said a man approached him and threatened him with violence, stealing the phone and making off in the direction of New Lane. The victim was unharmed.
The suspect was a white male, 5ft 9in tall with a slim build and thought to be around 25-years-old. He has dark hair, which is shorter at the back and longer at the front with a centre parting.
He was wearing dark Adidas tracksuit bottoms, a dark coloured hooded top with the hood up and Adidas trainers.
Anyone who recognises the man in the e-fit, or who has information which could assist police should phone 101, select option two and ask to speak to Detective Constable Gary Blackburn.
